Yaya Diamond is a singer, songwriter, performer, and broadcaster whose powerhouse soul sound and fearless storytelling have made her one of independent music’s most compelling voices. Based in Southwest Florida, she leads her band Yaya Diamond & The Dream Chasers and has shared stages as an opener for Tower of Power, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, The Commodores, and the Village People.
She currently directs and produces her TV shows and documentaries, is the Co-CEO of Woman to Woman and True Eye Network, CEO of Red Hot Reality Ent, and is the lead singer of her band Yaya Diamond and The Dream Chasers.
As the host of Dream Chasers Radio since 2008 — airing Tuesdays at 8pm GMT on LWR Radio London — Yaya has conducted more than 2,000 interviews with authors, entrepreneurs, artists, and world-changers. Her television productions include Late Night with Yaya Diamond, Yaya Diamond TV, and the New To You Music Video Show.
A Recording Academy member with Grammy ballot history, Yaya is a Florida Music Hall of Fame nominee, the recipient of an honorary doctorate in music business and entrepreneurship (Harvest Christian University, 2024), and a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award honoree. The daughter of disco legend Evelyn Thomas — the “Queen of High Energy” — music is quite literally her inheritance.
